When was the last time you tried something new - a new vegetable for example. This is ‘Absa’ a local vegetable from Karjat that I got introduced to.the vegetable looks like beans on steroids, and has very beautiful flowers. Those were what first caught my attention - I carried back some of the beans and also the spice powder that the locals use. When I tried making it last week it was a disaster, but today’s version that the wife made tasted awesome!
