Inside out or outside in...
Any discussion about motivation veers to carrots and sticks, pleasure and pain. Regardless of this, what is greater? External motivation or an internal one driven by understanding and acceptance. That something needs to be done.
I read this simple analogy recently that made the point so well. So I thought I would put it together with a visual and share it.

I can't begin to describe the accuracy of this relation. I bet Einstein never mentioned this in his theory.
