As kids, the idea of the job of a Guard of a train was fascinating! A lot of action sequences and fights also have been filmed in the Guards compartment in trains in Bollywood movies. Meet Mr Ashok Kumar, the guard of our train today. Armed with a firearm as well! I had a chance to chat with him in his office, the Guards Compartment in the train. I think this was one job like the motorman’s job that every kid fancied for a bit at some point.
