The one and only public street paved with wooden tiles exists in Havana. It’s the road outside the Palacio de low Capitanes-General. It has an interesting story. The bedrooms of the Governor of Havana were situated near the road and so as to reduce their bother with the sound of horse hooves and carts, the road was paved with wooden blocks rather than stone! #historynerd #trivia #Havana #iphone7plus #tripadvisor
