Today is Guru Purnima & a special day on various counts. For starters I remember my Dad cause this day/tithi was his birthday by the Indian calendar. As a child I remember him getting calls and greeting cards from his students and folks who looked up to him. I personally believe that teaching is self-assisted discovery and that is the reason that I teach. Over the years it has given me some wonderful learnings and I’ve met a lot of people who are so dear to me. This visual is a picture I took of a street installation that I walked past in Madrid, and I was instantly drawn to. Later I juxtaposed it with this quote attributed to Buddha for a Teachers Day post for Enrich, where personally I have learnt so much. It seemed apt for today and so I thought I would use it here.
