It is #panipuri weekend at home! Called by a variety of names #phuchka #golgappa #patasha #phulki each one has a slight variation and each one is tasty! There are stories of its origin that go back to the Magadh kingdom and also to Ramayana! As a nation our love for this snack is such that we carry elaborately packed kits of this delicacy with airtight and strong jars to safeguard the crispness of the Puri and sealed packets of the two/ three chutneys that go into making the Pani even when we travel abroad. And this is not just for our relatives there but also for us! In my household, a couple of times a year we do a weekend long binge on this snack - morning, afternoon and night! This is the first one of this year. #indianstreetfood #indiancomfortfood #indianchaat #foodie #foodiesofindia #foodiesofinstagram #foodstories
