Ganesha at the entrance of Rumtek Monastery, Sikkim

Ganesha at the entrance of the Rumtek Monastery in Sikkim - I was told that this is the only monastery ever to have a Ganesha image. Legend has it, that the lord appeared in the dream of the reigning Karma  pa and suggested that the monastery be built there
